Job Description

The Apprentice Service Technician must be a current student or graduate of an automotive technician training school. The apprentice is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned by his/her team leader. Apprentice Technician is guaranteed a minimum monthly income during apprenticeship period. Tuition reimbursement assistance is included.

• The apprentice technician is assigned a Mentor (typically a Master Technician) who will help the candidate acclimate to dealership operations and share technical knowledge.
• Assist the Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when assistance is needed.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the necessary repair.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
• Attend factory‑sponsored training classes.
• Stay abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Deliver high‑quality job performance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a valid automotive technical training program.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle records (MVR) and drug test.
