HVAC Data Center Team Mechanic Serviceman; Union

Responsibilities

• Travel 50-75% of the time as part of the travel team.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install advanced commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, pumps, rooftop units, and building automation systems.
• Use laser alignment, vibration analysis, and other modern diagnostic tools to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose problems, explain solutions, and ensure systems run efficiently and reliably for customers.
• Collaborate with a strong team of professionals, share knowledge, support apprentices, and continue to grow technical expertise.

• Several years of experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
• Proficient troubleshooting of chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, alignment, and vibration diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues to teammates and customers.
• Universal EPA refrigerant license.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Participation in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices is required.

• Pay range: $24.88 - $29.02 hourly, determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
