Performance Health is looking for Equipment Service Technicians to join our growing Field Service team. The Service Technician plays a critical role in supporting the reliability and safety of rehabilitation medical devices and exercise equipment used by customers. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and safety inspection of a wide range of products, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer standards.

As a valued technical professional, the Service Technician represents the company with a strong focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. This role builds technical expertise through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and manufacturer‑supported training programs designed to enhance technical proficiency and professional growth within the Service function.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑quality repairs, calibrations, and maintenance in accordance with specific manufacturers, Federal, State, and BRH guidelines.
  • Assess and prepare necessary equipment, tools, and materials to complete installations and service visits efficiently.
  • Manage the exchange and return process of electrotherapy devices and/or accessories requiring repair or replacement.
  • Verify equipment is fully operational and meets safety and performance standards before completing service visits.
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Coordinator and/or Service Manager to provide updates, flag issues, and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Accurately complete service documentation, maintain inventory, and uphold vehicle and tool organization standards.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights, identifying recurring technical issues, and recommending process enhancements.
  • Support the broader Service team as needed, including cross‑functional collaboration on special projects or initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical experience.
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven successful track record.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
