We're growing our team and looking to hire Lead Carpenters
. Whether you're a seasoned Lead Carpenter or a skilled carpenter ready to take the next step, we want people who take pride in their work, enjoy solving problems, and want to continue growing in their trade.

As a Carpenter, you'll work closely with our Project Managers, Superintendents, and fellow craftsmen to deliver high-quality residential construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general residential construction work
• Read and interpret construction drawings and project plans
• Identify potential issues before they become costly problems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Produce quality work that meets company standards
• Collaborate with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule
• Help train and support less experienced carpenters when appropriate
• Communicate professionally with team members and clients
• Assist with material planning and jobsite organization

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of residential carpentry experience (5 of the 10 years in luxury custom market)
• Take pride in your work. If & when you make a mistake, correct it as you go.
• A humble attitude and teachable personality. Team-first mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of framing and finish carpentry
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring other carpenters
• Experience with custom homes or residential remodeling
• Desire to continue developing your skills and grow into leadership opportunities

We believe the best way to evaluate a carpenter is through hands-on work.

Final candidates will complete a practical skills assessment, which may include:

• Working alongside one of our crews for part of a day, or
• Completing a carpentry project built to specified measurements while being observed by our leadership team.
• Compensation to be determined by your skill level ranging from $25 per hour to $40 per hour.
• Benefits are as follows:

• 50% of the individual for health insurance
• 2 weeks paid vacation
• 1 week sick days
• Paid major Holidays (5 total)
• After 3 years at HH you receive contributions to a SEP retirement account.
• Performance reviews two times a year that include bonus opportunities.
