Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician - Nashville TN Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician in Nashville TN! Earn $23-$32/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.
Responsibilities:- Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
- Terminate fire alarm panels and devices
- Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints
- Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)
- 4+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems
- Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes)
- Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, etc. a plus)
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
- NICET Certification is a PLUS
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Tennessee as needed
