Salary up to $30/hour depending upon experience and potential $2,000 sign on bonus depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily field support and measure the performance of technicians
Work with project managers and sub-contractors as needed
Must be able to source, understand and interpret industry codes and standards
Ensure technicians are participating in all Koorsen and vendor-required training
Provide coaching and motivation to help develop team members
Must be organized and have the ability to make adjustments in schedule to assist with department coverage needs
Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
Open-minded willingness for continual learning
Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
Any other duties deemed appropriate by management

Required:

Must have 2 + years of lead experience in the life safety industry
Must have at least 1 NICET certification
Pass drug and background screenings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications
Valid driver's license

Preferred:

Multiple NICET's in each discipline preferred

Physical Demands:

Must be able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
Must be able to effectively use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; push and pull greater than 75 lbs.
Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet, use a man lift, and reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform services
Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Hiring Process (in addition to an interview):

New hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within 3 days of hire. This form is required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Immigration and Naturalization Services.
