We're looking for an Experienced Carpenter who takes pride in their craft, works well as part of a team, and wants to continue developing their skills. This is an opportunity for a skilled carpenter who wants to contribute at a high level while growing toward future leadership opportunities.
What You'll DoAs an Experienced Carpenter, you'll work alongside our Lead Carpenters, Project Managers, Superintendents, and fellow craftsmen to deliver high-quality residential construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general residential construction work
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project plans
- Follow project specifications and company quality standards
- Identify potential issues and communicate them to the Lead Carpenter or project leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Complete assigned work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Work collaboratively with other trades and crew members
- Assist with material handling, planning, and jobsite organization
- Take ownership of your work and correct mistakes as they arise
- Communicate professionally with teammates and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in residential carpentry
- Strong knowledge of framing and finish carpentry
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Pride in workmanship and commitment to doing the job right
- Humble, teachable, team-first attitude
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom homes or high-end residential remodeling
- Experience working with a Lead Carpenter or Superintendent
- Ability to perform a variety of carpentry tasks with limited supervision
- Interest in developing advanced carpentry and leadership skills
The successful Experienced Carpenter:
- Produces consistently high-quality workmanship
- Completes work accurately and efficiently
- Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Communicates problems before they become larger issues
- Keeps the jobsite clean, safe, and organized
- Works well with the crew and supports a positive jobsite culture
- Continues developing the skills needed for future advancement
Final candidates will complete a practical skills assessment, which may include working alongside one of our crews or completing a carpentry project to specified measurements while being observed by our leadership team.
