Service Technician II

Securitas Technology is seeking a Service Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic security and life safety systems, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring equipment. You will perform field service at commercial and enterprise customer sites, conduct system testing and preventative maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards. This role collaborates with engineering, monitoring, and project teams to deliver reliable, technology-driven protection solutions and supports continuous improvement through feedback, training, and adherence to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service electronic security and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot and repair video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system testing at customer sites
• Document service activities, parts usage, and system configurations accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, monitoring, and project teams on complex issues
• Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicle in proper working order
