W J Bachman Mechanical Sheet metal Co. of FL Inc. is seeking skilled Mechanical HVAC Insulators to join our commercial field operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper installation of insulation systems on HVAC ductwork, piping, and mechanical equipment to meet performance, safety, and energy-efficiency standards.

This is a hands-on position ideal for professionals who take pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and working as part of a high-performing mechanical construction team.

• Install insulation on HVAC ductwork, piping, and mechanical equipment according to project specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and apply insulation materials accurately and efficiently
• Seal insulation systems to prevent energy loss and condensation issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Coordinate daily tasks with foremen, supervisors, and other trade crews
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Assist with staging materials and handling jobsite logistics as needed
• Inspect completed insulation systems to ensure quality standards are met

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of mechanical or HVAC insulation experience preferred
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Working knowledge of insulation materials (fiberglass, foam, elastomeric, etc.), tools, and installation methods
• Blueprint Reading:
  Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and project plans
• Certifications:
  
  OSHA certification or relevant trade certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift materials, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying Florida weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

• Full-Time
• Monday – Friday
• Overtime and weekend work as required based on project schedules

• Primarily on-site at commercial project locations throughout the Nashville, TN region
• Occasional travel to regional project sites may be required, with per diem provided
