Plumbing Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and performance issues using appropriate tools and methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing layouts.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing and building codes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on piping, pumps, water heaters, and related systems.
• Document work performed using digital work order systems and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and jobsite protocols.
• Coordinate with other trades on construction and renovation projects to meet schedules.
• Train or mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
