Fine Gardening Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Fine Gardening Team Leader to help lead our landscape maintenance operations for commercial and residential properties. This role combines hands on landscape maintenance, crew leadership, customer service, training, and operational support.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional landscape results while supporting team growth and efficiency.

The Maintenance Fine Gardening Team Leader performs a wide variety of maintenance, landscaping, and administrative tasks with minimal supervision. This role works closely with the Customer Service Manager and Production Manager to help maintain quality standards, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This position may require overtime as needed.

• Maintain or exceed field efficiency goals
• Maintain monthly audit completion
• Support a goal of zero lost time accidents
• Ensure weekly mower maintenance completion

• Help supervise maintenance crews to ensure quality work is completed
• Support smooth daily operations by assisting team leaders and field staff
• Help facilitate and monitor crew departure times each morning
• Assist with training all team leaders and crew members on company SOPs
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to improve training programs and operational systems
• Train employees on new technology, safety systems, communication tools, and purchasing software

• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
• Maintain high quality workmanship standards across all properties

• Help conduct monthly Maintenance Operations Meetings
• Help lead bi weekly Safety Meetings

• Promote and enforce safe work practices
• Support the company’s goal of zero workplace accidents

• Valid driver’s license required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance team leader
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and fine gardening practices
• Willingness to continue learning and growing professionally
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical job duties outdoors in varying conditions
