Traveling Electrical Superintendent

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Electrical Superintendent in Nashville, TN. Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to lead commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical construction projects at job sites across the country. In this role, you will oversee large-scale electrical installations, manage substantial field crews, and uphold the highest standards of safety and workmanship on new construction and capital projects.

The ideal candidate brings a decade or more of supervisory experience in electrical construction, a deep command of the National Electrical Code, and the hands-on technical expertise to lead crews of up to 100 employees through complex, high-volume projects.

Annual Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 Annually BOE

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities across single or multiple active project sites.
• Manage up to six subordinate supervisors and oversee a total workforce of up to 100 employees on projects scaling up to 200,000 man-hours.
• Make hiring and firing decisions for project field personnel.
• Read and interpret blueprints and lay out electrical work in accordance with project specifications and NEC standards.
• Coordinate and install conduit and cable tray systems, including measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit.
• Demonstrate proficiency in bending 90s, offsets, and saddles in 1/2 inch through 4 inch EMT, GRC, and IMC.
• Set up and coordinate large cable pulls, pull and splice wire, and apply a comprehensive understanding of circuiting.
• Operate large pipe bending equipment and wire pulling machines.
• Supervise and perform the installation of switch gear, distribution panels, transformers, fire alarm systems, lighting fixtures, trim, and related electrical equipment.
• Wire three-phase motors and transformers and test circuit continuity using instruments including ohmmeters, battery and buzzers, and meggers.
• Perform hands-on electrical wiring duties and general construction operations as conditions require.

• 6 to 10 years of documented work experience in the electrical field within the construction industry.
• Minimum 10 years of prior supervisory experience in electrical construction.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, the National Electrical Code, and construction safety standards.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work on construction sites nationwide on a Monday through Friday schedule.
• Proven ability to manage large field crews and coordinate subcontractor relationships across complex projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Hands‑on experience with conduit systems including EMT, GRC, and IMC, and with large-scale cable pull operations.
• Experience with installation and wiring of switch gear, distribution panels, transformers, fire alarm systems, and three-phase motors.

• Must be aware of and comply with OSHA safety standards at all times.
• May be exposed to heights and loud noises on active construction sites.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders as required by site conditions.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending required.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying materials as needed for the role.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Must be capable of working in varying outdoor and indoor environmental conditions across nationwide job sites.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
