A&P Mechanic

On Call Aviation is seeking a motivated FAA-certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to join our growing aviation maintenance team at John

C. Tune Airport in Nashville.

This position is ideal for an A&P who enjoys hands‑on aviation maintenance and wants the opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, pays attention to detail, and understands that providing excellent aircraft maintenance also means providing excellent service to the aircraft owner.

Required:

Current FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings

Basic understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.

Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins, and technical documentation.

Ability to safely use common aircraft maintenance tools and equipment.

Strong attention to detail.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Valid driver's license.

Must provide basic personal hand tools appropriate for the position.

Preferred, but not required:

Previous general aviation maintenance experience.

Experience with GA aircraft.

Experience with turbine and jet aircraft.

Experience with Continental and Lycoming piston engines.

Inspection Authorization (IA).

Avionics and electrical troubleshooting experience.
