Job Description

This role involves working on an interior renovation construction project within an active hospital environment. You will carry out a range of carpentry tasks, install specialty fixtures, and support the safe and efficient progress of the project while maintaining hospital-level cleanliness and professionalism.

• Carry out carpentry work as part of an interior renovation project in an active hospital.
• Install wall blocking to support fixtures, accessories, and equipment.
• Hang and install specialties such as soap dispensers, televisions, and other fixtures and accessories.
• Build and install temporary barriers and handrails as required by the project.
• Break down and remove temporary barriers and handrails once no longer needed.
• Perform day-to-day cleaning duties, including taking out rubbish, sweeping, and keeping work areas clean to hospital standards.
• Move equipment and materials in and out of the workspace safely and efficiently.
• Use hand and power tools to install specialty fixtures and complete framing and finish carpentry tasks.
• Follow all relevant safety procedures and regulations while working on a commercial construction site.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and hospital staff, maintaining a professional and respectful presence at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Nashville,TN.
