Night Monitor

We are seeking a Night Monitor to provide continuous supervision and support for residents at Youth Villages.

• Work shifts of either 10:30pm to 6:30am or 11pm to 7:00am, five nights a week.
• Provide constant nightly supervision by checking in on residents and scanning rooms at scheduled intervals to ensure safety.
• Support residents with conflicts, sleep difficulties, medical needs, and other needs as required.
• Supervise residents’ morning routines, ensuring hygiene and preparation for school.
• Complete daily documentation (contact notes, milieu notes, precautionary notes) in the electronic medical record system (EMR).
• Perform any additional duties assigned.

• Physical demands include prolonged walking, standing, running, climbing stairs, and required physical agility.
• Must be able to participate in physical interventions when necessary and frequently lift or move up to 50lb, occasionally more than 100lb.
• Required to complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR training and pass an agility and strength evaluation.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Experience working with youth (required); experience with at‑risk youth and/or families strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
