$1000 dollar bonus after the completion of ROP Core Practice training (90 days) ,
The Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center is located in Downtown Nashville, right next to the Tennessee Titans stadium, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for at-risk youth. As part of our team, you’ll help provide care and supervision for young individuals awaiting trial, offering a mix of education, counseling, medical and recreation services. You’ll monitor activities, document behavior, and assist in various programs to support the growth and development of youth aged 12-18.

Pay
: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period

What you will do: A Coach Counselor provides in person safety and security around-the-clock. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. Coach Counselors provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
Coach Counselor Officer will collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
Schedule: 4 days on/3 off – 3 days on/4 off

Shift: 7am – 8pm (12-hour shift

* 1 hour break*)
