Job Title: Senior Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that drive our healthcare solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to build scalable and robust machine learning systems. Your expertise will help transform healthcare data into actionable insights to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

• Model Development:
  Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models for healthcare applications, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and generative AI.
• End-to-End Deployment:
  Develop and maintain the full lifecycle of machine learning solutions, from data preprocessing and model training to deployment and production monitoring.
• Data Engineering:
  Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data for training and inference.
• Software Development:
  Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for machine learning applications with seamless integration into existing systems.
• Performance Optimization:
  Monitor and improve model and system performance, addressing scalability, latency, and accuracy.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentorship:
  Provide guidance to junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• On-Call Support:
  Advance and standardize CI/CD frameworks and participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical incidents within SLA-defined time frames.
• Compliance & Confidentiality:
  Ensure ongoing compliance with Inovalon’s policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements; lead internal audits and maintain audit readiness.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or IT.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years total experience with 4+ years in dedicated machine learning and a proven track record deploying models in production.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn); experience with generative AI technologies including LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG architectures, and transfer learning is a plus; cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices; knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline tools (Airflow, Kafka); frontend and backend development with React, Node.js,
  
  and Django.
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and regulations (HIPAA) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and collaboration abilities; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
