Position Overview
In this role, you will work alongside experienced software engineers and technical specialists and will be given the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You will design, develop, and maintain the software products offered by Health Stream in accordance with technology best practices and product offerings. Work with team leaders and senior developers to understand and refine requirements.
Design and estimate effort of new features or sub‑systems from business concept to detailed technical design. Develop quality, defect‑free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards.
Adhere to all Health Stream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Code, debug, document, deploy and maintain new software programs in a highly efficient and effective manner.
- Maintain and modify existing applications.
- Fix defects found in testing.
- Work with, and modify packaged applications.
- Build and/or use components.
- Participate in problem analysis and system design as requested.
- Gather customer requirements and specify functionality (when no application architect or on less complex projects).
- Participate in the cost and time estimation process of projects.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required.
- 1‑2 years experience/knowledge with web‑based applications, SQL Server, and C#.
- Strong logic skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate well‑developed problem solving skills.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritization, attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies rapidly.
- Clear and effective communication with other team members.
- Consistently meet established project deadlines.
- Work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Exposure to or experience with React
JS. - Working knowledge of REST API design and consumption.
- Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000, determined based on experience and qualifications.
