As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a talented team in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Your expertise will drive ambitious new initiatives as we continue our rapid growth-developing innovative solutions from the ground up that set industry standards for scale and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

* 3+ years of management or team lead experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed services

* 5+ years of software engineering experience

* Strong knowledge of operating system fundamentals

* Strong understanding of data models and distributed persistence technologies

* Thorough understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

* Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills

* Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle

* Experience building and operating scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems

* Experience in infrastructure as code platforms like Terraform will be a plus

* Experience building and managing public cloud services

* Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
