Associate Software Engineer Job Description
Works in the area of Software Engineering which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions and applications.
Is the entry level in Software Engineering with a foundational understanding of programming concepts, software design and software development principles. Consistently works with reducing supervision, producing accurate and reliable results. They are expected to be eager to learn and know when to ask questions and check for understanding. Understands and follows work processes. Aware of costs related to own work. Organises own time to deliver against tasks set by others with a short-term horizon.
Works cooperatively with others to achieve team goals and has a direct and positive impact on project performance. Actively seeks feedback to improve and starts to manage own career with support.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $43,984 - $105,600.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
