Software Developer, Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

In this role, you will work alongside experienced software engineers and technical specialists and will be given the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

You will design, develop, and maintain the software products offered by Health Stream in accordance with technology best practices and product offerings. Work with team leaders and senior developers to understand and refine requirements. Design and estimate effort of new features or sub-systems from business concept to detailed technical design. Develop quality, defect free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards.

• Adhere to all Health Stream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
• Codes, debugs, documents, deploys and maintains new software programs in a highly efficient and effective manner.
• Maintain and modify existing applications.
• Fix defects found in testing.
• May work with and modify packaged applications.
• May build and/or use components.
• Participate in problem analysis and system design as requested.
• In the absence of an application architect or on projects that are less complex, gather customer requirements and specify functionality.
• Participate in the cost and time estimation process of projects.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is required.
• 1-2 years experience/knowledge with each of the following: web-based applications, SQL server, C#.
• Must have strong logic skills, be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and demonstrate well-developed problem solving skills.
• Must demonstrate excellent time-management, prioritization, attention to detail and organization skills.
• Must have the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies rapidly.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members.
• Must be able to consistently meet established project deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, and as part of a team.
• Exposure to or experience with React
  
  JS.
• Working knowledge of REST API design and consumption.

• The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000. Salary will be determined on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications. Compensation will be commensurate with skills, relevant experience, and performance in similar roles.
