Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is developing a region build service to drive region build automation to the next level using AI integration and tools. This role will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions while mentoring and guiding teams. Leverage expertise in system architecture, cloud technologies, and software design to drive innovation and ensure performance, security, and maintainability. Define best practices, establish coding standards, and troubleshoot complex challenges.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technology with business goals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team responsible for the software design, development, and operations of our new and existing products using AI integration and tools. You should be able to architect broad system interactions, dive deep into any part of the stack, value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

You will also be expected to provide technical leadership, independent decision‑making, and promote operational excellence.

You will have experience developing and operating high‑scale services and understanding how to make cloud‑scale services resilient. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who balances speed and quality with iterative improvements. You understand operational excellence and know how to infuse a proactive culture within your team, recommend and justify major changes to products and establish consensus with data‑driven approaches.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4+ years of total experience in software development
• Strong coding skills using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar OO languages
• Experience developing software with agentic AI
• Proven ability to deliver products and experience with the full software development lifecycle
• Experience working on large‑scale, highly distributed services infrastructure
• Experience working in an operational environment with mission‑critical tier‑one livesite servicing
• Systematic problem‑solving approach, strong communication skills, sense of ownership, and drive

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
