Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable software solutions, guiding technical decisions and mentoring teammates. The role delivers high‑quality code, reviews designs, and improves system reliability and performance. The engineer collaborates across product, QA, and operations to plan releases, automate workflows, and resolve complex issues. Responsibilities include establishing coding standards, performing root‑cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development and evolution of a large‑scale consumer and partner web platform. This platform is built as a microfront end‑based monorepo, supporting multiple branded experiences through shared libraries, consistent patterns, and platform integrations.

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features within a microfront end‑based monorepo.
• Build scalable applications using shared libraries, established patterns, and platform capabilities.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions, clearly articulating trade‑offs (e.g., performance vs. maintainability).
• Integrate with content and configuration systems (e.g., Contentful) to enable dynamic, SEO‑friendly experiences.
• Contribute to accessibility, performance, and responsive design to ensure high‑quality user experiences.
• Implement analytics instrumentation aligned with event models and privacy guidelines.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end‑to‑end).
• Support and improve CI/CD workflows for efficient, low‑risk deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot issues across build pipelines, runtime behavior, and system integrations.
• Navigate ambiguity by identifying risks, asking questions, and helping drive solutions forward.
• Contribute to a healthy engineering culture through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and thoughtful feedback.
• Collaborate across frontend and backend boundaries to design and deliver user experiences that integrate with multiple services and APIs.

• Strong experience with Type Script, JavaScript, and React, frontend architecture, CI/CD - Git Hub Actions, API integration.
• Familiarity with monorepo and microfront end architectures (e.g., Nx).
• Experience with frontend build tools (e.g., webpack, Babel).
• Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and configuration‑driven UI.
• Understanding of accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization for large‑scale web applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E testing concepts.
• Experience with cloud‑hosted frontend deployments (e.g., AWS S3/Cloud Front) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of web security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production debugging.
• Ability to evaluate AI‑generated solutions for quality, security, and maintainability.

• 4+ years of experience building web applications (preferably with JavaScript/Type Script).
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
