Title: EXPORT Control Consultant,
Location: Nashville TN (on site no exceptions),
Duration: 6 months plus,
Rate: $60.00 per hour W2,
Visa: Green Card or US Citizen no sponsorship,
NOTE: Can accept relocation people but at their own cost.

Amazon's Global Risk Audit Management – Transportation (GRAM‑T) is building AI‑powered solutions and integrated platforms to accelerate SCRC's transition to proactive risk management. We build world‑class technology across deep algorithmic problems, brand new tools that cater to multi‑party business scenarios, and challenging data models that evolve quickly. Our systems audit across a multitude of international transportation and operational segments, requiring highly available and scalable distributed systems.

In addition to technology, there are ample opportunities to build domain expertise of international transportation risk and compliance and get first‑hand experience of Amazon operations by interacting directly with our global internal and external partners and other Amazon software engineers. We are looking for highly talented engineers who are passionate about architecting and developing large scale distributed technology solutions, innovating new ideas, and providing direction to the business in risk and compliance.

Ability to deal with ambiguity, anticipate bottlenecks and escalations, and deliver fast are crucial to success. Passion for the team and our vision will enable meaningful contributions to GRAM‑T and the customer experience.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object‑Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
