Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. You will contribute to the technical direction of key projects, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
- Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Management and partner engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and documentation.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and development processes.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.
- Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Experience operating production cloud services.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing).
- Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).
An IC3 engineer is expected to perform independent delivery of medium-sized features, break down problems, produce maintainable code, identify and fix production issues with minimal guidance, own one or more service components, drive features through design to deployment, and maintain operational health of owned components.

Benefits and CompensationSalary range: $92,500 - $209,500 per year. Eligible for bonus and equity.
