Senior Software Engineer

Fortress Technology is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our property management software. As a key member of the engineering team, you will focus on addressing product gaps and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:
Design, develop, and enhance property management software that provides seamless solutions for our clients. You will be at the forefront of building robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Team

Collaboration:

Depending on the company's product needs, you may be assigned to one of the following teams:

Affordable Housing Team:
Develop software solutions that address the specific challenges and requirements of affordable housing management, ensuring accessibility and compliance.

Accounting Team:
Build tools and features to streamline financial operations, including rent payments, expense tracking, and budgeting for property managers.

General Integrations Team:
Tackle a variety of projects, including work order systems and other integrations designed to enhance property management services. This team focuses on creating versatile and comprehensive solutions.

Writing microservices in node.js + typescript, postgres
• Integrating with distributed cloud services (e.g. SQS, SNS, Event Bridge)
• Analyzing logs and monitors with observability tools
• Addressing escalations promptly and frequent communication
• Maintaining a high bar for unit tests and code coverage
• Collaborating with the team during scrum ceremonies
