Drupal Technical Lead | 8-12 YearsLocation:
United States/ Remote 12 Months Contract Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Drupal Technical Lead to architect, develop, and deliver scalable Drupal-based web applications while leading a team of developers and driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Drupal 9/10/11 solutions.
- Develop custom modules, themes, and integrations.
- Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams.
- Drive Drupal upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and security compliance.
- Integrate Drupal with external systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Support CI/CD, cloud deployments, and production issue resolution.
- 8 years of web application development experience.
- Strong expertise in Drupal 8/9/10/11
, PHP, Symfony, Composer. - Experience with custom module development, Drupal APIs, Twig, Views, and Configuration Management.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, MySQL
, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of AWS/Azure
, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of Drupal security, caching, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading development teams and customer-facing technical discussions.
- Headless Drupal with React/Angular.
- Drupal migration and upgrade experience.
- Drupal Certification is a plus.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
