About the Role
Our client, a global leader in grocery retail and supply chain operations, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and distribution operations across DCs and manufacturing facilities.
This role will focus on scheduling, coordination, freight auditing, and cross-functional communication to ensure efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate brings strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
What You’ll Do
• Schedule inbound deliveries and pickups for distribution centers and manufacturing plants
• Plan and coordinate fleet pickups at vendor locations
• Audit freight payment processes for accuracy and timeliness
• Perform end-of-day administrative tasks and reporting
• Communicate regularly with procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, shipping/receiving teams, carriers, and DC partners

What We’re Looking For
• Experience or knowledge in distribution, transportation, or logistics operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Experience with online purchasing and inventory system applications
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to meet timelines and manage competing priorities
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Skills
• Experience scheduling freight or coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries
• Familiarity with freight payment systems
• Experience working with vendors, carriers, and DC operations
• Background in high-volume logistics or supply chain environments
