The Shipping/Receiving Clerk supports logistics operations by coordinating shipments, managing shipping documentation, and maintaining accurate records within ERP and Warehouse Management Systems. This role works closely with carriers, drivers, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient shipment processing.

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse coordination, or administrative support within a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred. Experience with shipment documentation, carrier coordination, or inventory systems is a plus.

Equipment/Software

Skills:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software (e.g., UPS World Ship or similar platforms) preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills required for shipment verification, counts, and documentation
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to complete clear and accurate documentation
• Ability to communicate professionally with drivers, carriers, and internal teams

Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and must be able to wear a respirator required.

Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.).

Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.
