Transportation Logistics Specialist

Our client, an e-commerce industry company, is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the team that supports regions and shippers across the supply chain network and is tasked with ensuring on-time pickup and delivery of freight from vendors, fulfillment centers, rail yards, and shipper hubs. An ideal candidate has a background in customer service/call center, transportation, or supply chain;

along with strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a fast-pace, high-volume call center environment with a lot of growth opportunity!

6 Months (extensions/conversion to permanent possible)
Pay Range: $18 - $20 hourly

Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

What's the Job?
  • Deliver exceptional carrier and driver support in a high-volume operations environment by resolving transportation disruptions and ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Monitor load execution, coordinate repair requests, and help maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance across the transportation network.
  • Utilize internal systems and data from multiple sources to generate operational reports and support performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, carriers, rail partners, and field operations to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support peak-volume and weather-related operations in a fast-paced environment, including schedule adherence, overtime as needed, and assistance with over-the-road driver and carrier disruptions.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, contact center, or related support experience; logistics a plus.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings/nights, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed in a fast-paced operational environment.
