Forklift Operator

Responsibilities and Experience

• Duties may include receiving, stocking, picking, serial scanning, packing wrapping, palletizing materials and operating floor machines (non-forklift)
• Responsible for keeping inventory control of material use for production and finished goods
• Handle warehouse system according to the operational procedures
• Receiving material and documentation according to purchasing orders, operational procedures, and system process
• Keep aisles clear and free of debris to make it easy to access bins and pallets.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
• Follow standard warehouse procedures and required safety work practices
• Willingness to help in other departments as needed
• Prior experience working in a warehouse
• Responsible for controlling forklift machinery to move materials around the warehouse
• Communicate non-compliance and/or quality problems to supervisor and/or shift lead
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with forklift training
• Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Must have ability to carry manually loads up to 50 pounds

• Prior experience working in a warehouse
