POSITION OVERVIEW The Material Handler (1st Shift) is responsible for order picking and packing in a high-volume distribution environment. This role supports product fulfillment operations during peak season and requires a dependable, detail-oriented team member who thrives in a structured warehouse setting.
Pay Rate
: $17.25/hr- /hr
Schedule
: 1st shift Monday-Friday | OT on Saturdays | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
2nd shift- 3pm-11:30pm OR 4pm-1am
3rd Shift
- Sun-Thurs with OT on Fri OR Sat
-Wed with OT on Thurs (10pm-6:30am)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to work instructions and system prompts
- Inspect product for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets as set by site management
- Follow all health, safety, and Geodis site policies
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems as required
- Participate in team huddles, safety walks, and continuous improvement activities
- Adhere to strict attendance and punctuality requirements
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility for the assigned shift
- Willingness to work overtime on Saturdays
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Must pass criminal background check (theft, violence, drug offences screened)
- Must be available to work the full shift as scheduled
