Kelly Services is currently hiring a dependable and motivated Material Handler to join a small warehouse team in Nashville. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, takes initiative, and demonstrates leadership potential.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of daily warehouse operations. There is opportunity for growth and advancement into a leadership position for the right individual.

Responsibilities include:

• Load and unload trucks manually and using a forklift
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders or packing lists
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for distribution
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Follow a strict no-cell-phone-use policy while on duty
• Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Take initiative and help ensure the warehouse operates smoothly

What we're looking for includes:

• Previous Material Handler or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift certification and experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills and a willingness to take initiative
• Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and help solve problems
• High school diploma or equivalent
