Warehouse Material Handler

Kelly Services is currently hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to join a busy Zone Service Center. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring products and materials are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to use technology such as a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete daily tasks. • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
• Receive and properly store incoming materials
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process and track inventory
• Select, pick, pack, and palletize customer shipments
• Sort and package less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments
• Perform inventory cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Complete required daily safety inspections
• Report inventory, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and productivity

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred
• Large warehouse experience is a plus
• Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
• Able to lift and move various loads
• Comfortable cutting wire as required
• Able to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the workday
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
