Warehouse Material Handler
Location:
Nashville, TN Job Type: Tem-Hire Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Kelly Services is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a Zone Service Center. In this role, you will help ensure products are received, stored, prepared, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to use warehouse technology and equipment.
What You'll Do- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to warehouse procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and push carts.
- Select, pack, and palletize customer shipments.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process and track inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Perform daily safety inspections and follow all company safety procedures.
- Lift, move, and handle various materials as required.
- Cut wire and perform other warehouse-related tasks.
- Climb ladders and work comfortably at different heights.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a large warehouse is a plus.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving various loads.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical test.
- Good attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in various temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
