SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for specific daily activities including, but not limited to, the following: shipping, receiving, positioning, documenting the movement of material handling equipment, related accessories and other materials. Completing internal movements of serialized equipment and materials between storage areas. Preparing freight to be transported and coordinating pickup and delivery with carriers.
Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Utilize SAP and mInventory to track, receive, and manage serialized inventory. Ensure all items are accurately logged, inventoried, and accounted for. Performing inventory audits and scrapping functions for damaged or obsolete materials.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship equipment orders in a timely and accurate manner, following customer and company specifications. Print paperwork and apply labeling to ensure regulatory compliance for clear communication of dangerous goods.
- Receiving: Receive incoming equipment and related materials, verify quantities and quality, and input data into SAP and mInventory. Place parts and equipment in their designated locations while ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Ensure parts and equipment are stored properly to prevent damage and to optimize space for easy access.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately enter data into SAP and mInventory, including stock movements, inventory adjustments, and order statuses. Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Ability to operate a variety of Material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload forklifts, industrial batteries, machinery or other items from/to flat bed trailers and shipping docks.
- Examine incoming shipments against documentation, communicates with Internal teams to rectify damages and shortages.
- Tags/Marks inbound shipments with Customer Name and/or Purchase Order Number, and notifies appropriate person or Department via email and phone.
- Move material handling equipment to designated staging area and prepare for the arrival of transportation provider or service technician.
- Prepare equipment and documentation for transport including crating, wrapping, strapping reenforcing or otherwise securing loads for transportation carrier pickup.
- Utilizes a PC or tablet to maintain accurate inventory of all serialized items.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Perform inventory control tasks such as equipment counts and location audits as required.
- Promote safety through own work habits.
- Works to ensure departmental compliance with all safety and contamination control guidelines.
