Job Purpose /
Summary:
Warehouse associates are responsible for various job duties within the warehouse/distribution center. These duties include, but are not limited to order picking, packing, and loading/unloading. Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within the warehouse environment and provide high-quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, accurate storage and handling of inventory.
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, and loading/unloading.
- Ability to pull a 50 lb. cart throughout the warehouse.
- Ability to locate products using technology (Point of Sale System - for inventory tracking)
- Ability to read and interpret numbers and words from a pick ticket.
- Follows company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to company safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
- Works cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
- Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
- Additional duties assigned by Lead or DC Managers.
Qualifications &
Education Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working with forklifts and other MHE is preferred.
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands:
- Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.
- Utilize a computer and other tools for administrative support.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, on occasion.
- When certified, operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other machinery.
