Night Foreman

Kahlua Bay, in Nashville Tennessee, is seeking a full-time Night Shift Manager. The Night Shift Manager oversees the nightly operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role supervises warehouse personnel, maintains inventory accuracy, enforces safety procedures, and coordinates with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth warehouse operations.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or warehouse management is preferred. Previous experience in warehouse operations, including supervisory experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of night shift warehouse staff.

Plan and assign work schedules to ensure productivity.

Oversee order picking and shipping processes.

Manages truck assignments, and coordinates the movement of trucks to loading bays to ensure efficient and timely loading operations.

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits.

Ensure accurate documentation of inventory movements and warehouse transactions.

Operate and oversee the safe use of warehouse equipment.

Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees.

Coordinate with customer service teams.

Monitor warehouse performance and recommend process improvements.

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety standards.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The job requires extensive amount of stooping, bending, carrying, kneeling, walking, and moving heavy materials potentially weighing up to 75lbs. This position is required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others, or to otherwise demonstrate or explain how they can perform the essential functions of the job.
