Stepdown Registered Nurse | Natchez, Mississippi

A contract opportunity is available for a registered nurse with stepdown unit experience, based in Natchez, Mississippi. This role is ideal for nurses seeking to apply their clinical skills within a dynamic and supportive healthcare setting for a 13-week assignment. The position offers day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Stepdown unit experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred but may be obtained onsite within the first three weeks.
• Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
