Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Machinist role based in Natchez, MS. The Machinist sets up, operates, and monitors CNC and manual machines to produce precision subsurface oilfield tools and related components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling and materials, performing measurements and inspections, and maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards. The role also involves routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machining issues, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules safely and efficiently.

Machinists are expected to follow all shop safety procedures, document work as required, and contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications - desired not required

• Experience with CNC and manual machining, including setup, operation, and adjustment of lathes, mills, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions, with strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic shop math, tolerances, and use of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety practices, machine maintenance basics, and safe material handling in an industrial environment.
• Previous experience in oilfield tool manufacturing or heavy industrial machining is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Reliable work habits, effective communication, and willingness to learn and follow established processes.
