Control Room Operator

Description

Phibro rCB LLC is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Control Room Operator / Plant Operations Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our industrial manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling plant operations from the Control Room while also performing field inspections, troubleshooting equipment, maintenance, repairs, and operational support. The Control Room Operator / Plant Operations Technician must develop a thorough understanding of the plant's systems, equipment, processes, and operating cycle.

The successful candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while communicating effectively with operations, maintenance, laboratory, and management personnel.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, Control Room Operator, Process Operator, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Technician, or similar industrial role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand and follow technical operating procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment documentation, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Ability to recognize abnormal operating conditions and respond appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn computerized control systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and management.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
