Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary

Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Travel Nurse
Location: Natchez, Mississippi
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts
Type: Travel

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.
• Perform close patient monitoring and frequent assessment in a step‑down environment.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certification (minimum 2 years clinical experience).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop, lift up to 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Strong stress‑management and interpersonal skills.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
