- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
- PALS certification preferred (facility may offer within first 3 weeks)
- Experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or similar acute care setting preferred
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
- Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, and documentation skills
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, identify arrhythmias, assess patient condition, and document clinical changes accurately
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments per facility policy and nursing protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiology teams, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions related to cardiac care
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and patient-centered environment following hospital and regulatory standards
- Hands-on cardiac stepdown and telemetry experience to advance your RN career
