Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Overview
The Provider delivers high‑quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services, supporting a team‑oriented, adaptable environment. The role involves both in‑person clinic care and virtual communication, maintaining patient satisfaction and a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Provide quality care in the clinic and through telehealth, meeting patient volume goals.
- Lead clinic staff by example, ensuring excellent patient care and adherence to protocols.
- Perform duties described in the SCRIBE job description, including reviewing medical history, symptoms, allergies, and medications.
- Use telehealth protocols, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment and follow‑up.
- Ensure accurate, timely completion of patient charts and HIPAA compliance.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training sessions.
- Implement and uphold company values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- Participate in on‑call rotations periodically throughout the year.
- Assist new employees with onboarding, training, and job shadowing.
- Maintain compliance with all mandatory training and clinic standards.
- PRN employees: minimum 4 shifts per month. Full‑time employees: 12‑hour shifts, every other weekend.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
- Active license as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and current DEA registration.
- Minimum 1–2 years of provider experience in urgent care, occupational medicine, ER, trauma unit, or family practice.
- Ability to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
- DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment.
- Prior telehealth clinician experience preferred.
- Employee Levels:
- Level 1:
New graduate (≤1 year experience). - Level 2: 1–4 years experience.
- Level 3: 5–9 years experience.
- Level 4: 10+ years experience.
