Travel PCU RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Travel PCU RN who is ready to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their stay. The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure accuracy in documentation
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and ongoing care
- Current RN license
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- PALS certification (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of arrival)
- Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Experience in PCU or similar nursing settings preferred
