TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Natchez, Mississippi.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds easily, and up to 50 pounds when required.

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS, PALS certification required; additional certifications may be required before assignment.
