Crew Member Duties Include
  • Assisting with the installation of landscape elements such as plants, trees, sod, mulch, and irrigation systems.
  • Performing hardscape construction tasks including grading, setting pavers, building retaining walls, and installing edging or decorative stone.
  • Operating a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trenchers, compactors, skid steers, saws).
  • Preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging, grading, and measuring layout areas.
  • Loading, unloading, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
  • Following layout plans and instructions provided by supervisors or crew leaders.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and reporting any repairs or safety concerns promptly.
  • Complying with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills
  • Skills in various construction techniques and equipment.
  • High school degree or GED is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
  • A valid driver license and a clean driving record is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Must have the minimum of 6 months of experience in landscaping or construction.
  • Horticulture knowledge and standards of planting, digging, and mulching is preferred.
  • Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trades is a plus.
  • The use of heavy equipment is a plus (i.e. bobcats, excavator, skid-steer loader etc.)
  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time while assigned to various project locations (if assigned remotely housing is provided).
Compensation / Benefits
  • Hourly payrates start at the prevailing wage set by the Dept of Labor (DOL) for the location assigned
