Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Business Office Manager to join our team at Onyx Care of Natchitoches, a leading healthcare provider in Natchitoches, LA. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of our business office, ensuring seamless communication, and providing exceptional support to our patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the business office, overseeing daily operations, and coordinating tasks with other departments.
  • Supervise and train administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, patient billing, and insurance claims.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative role; experience in a business office or medical records setting a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
