This posting is for Adjunct Cosmetology Instructors at the Natchitoches Campus of Bossier Parish Community College.

Salary:  $2250 per 3 credit hour course

High School Diploma or equivalency required. Must possess a current and active Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology Instructor License with relevant certificate and two (2) years of occupational experience as a licensed cosmetologist.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.

* Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

* Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.

* Ability to stand for over 75% of the time.

Providing and supporting classroom instruction for the Cosmetology program. Demonstrating and applying a thorough and accurate knowledge of the teaching field and discipline.
