Assistant Professor of Management
Northwestern State University School of Business is currently seeking an individual for a full-time 9-month position as an Assistant Professor of Management beginning August 10, 2026. Screening of applications will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.

Minimum QualificationsDoctorate in Management or closely related field preferred. Master's in business related field required; applicant must earn doctorate within six years of hire. Primary teaching responsibility in management area; consideration given to other areas of teaching. Documented higher education teaching experience and documented research record are preferred. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated higher education teaching experience. Applicants should possess extensive knowledge in management field, higher education teaching using a variety of technologies, and a documented record of higher education teaching performance in both face-to-face and online classes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Publications or other evidence of research capability are expected.
Teach 12 credit hours of business courses, maintain office hours, advise/counsel students, serve on various committees and assist in program development. Engage in scholarly activities including research and professional publication. Participate in professional service activities within the college, university, or above. Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Business.
